Yen began her running journey more recently, aiming to stay active and healthy. What started as morning jogs before work quickly evolved into a passion for endurance sports. She quickly completed her first duathlon and Olympic distance triathlon, marking the start of her triathlon career and has since gone on to complete a full IRONMAN and qualified for the World Championships in Kona this year.
